Cause

JDRF is the world's leading research funder and advocate for those living with type 1 diabetes (T1D). Our mission is to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat T1D and its complications. To accomplish this, JDRF’s support programs deliver educational resources, live online educational programming, peer mentorship and group connection series, and advocacy initiatives such as government lobby days. These activities are currently virtual and available to all Canadians affected by T1D. Funding to research focuses on prevention, treatment, and curative research, ensuring we find a cure but also enhance quality of life today. Through funding these projects, we believe that together we can turn type 1 into type none.
